West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) is committed to the safety and wellbeing of Children and Young People.

We are required to follow laws to keep children and young people safe. These laws include:

Child Safe Newsletter

To ensure that parents, carers and community members are aware of what we are doing as an organisation to keep children and young people safe we have a quarterly newsletter which you can subscribe to  below.

Child Safe Organisation

As an organisation providing services to children and young people WGHG are required to meet the Victorian Child Safe Standards. WGHG are working closely with Child Wise to obtain accreditation and be recognised as a child safe organisation.

In working towards the standards we are keen to hear from children and young people and ensure they have a say in organisational issues.

Youth Community Voices Group

Any children or young people wishing to be involved in our youth community voices group can express their interest by one of the following methods.
