Residents are encouraged to complete a “Life Story of…” booklet. This will assist staff to understand each resident’s interests. This helps to plan recreation activities and outings.
We encourage residents to be involved in making decisions about life at Andrews House. There are monthly resident meetings to discuss ideas as well as an annual Resident and Family Opinion Survey.
Non-Denominational services are provided at Andrews House. Residents are encouraged to maintain contact with their local religious community.
Andrews House has a 10 seater bus and residents enjoy regular bus outings to many of Gippsland’s community attractions.
Andrews House offers a number of communal areas to be enjoyed by all. These include:
- Dining rooms
- Lounge rooms
- Television viewing areas
- Sheltered court yards
Residents are entitled to 52 nights of social leave away from Andrews House in any financial year.
