Vital for our community – New Equipment Arrives

West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) has welcomed eight new vital signs machines thanks to the generous support of the Lions Club of Warragul and the Australian Lions Foundation.

In April, members of the Lions Club of Warragul formally presented WGHG Chief Executive Officer Shannon Wight with a cheque for $36,000, funding the purchase of the new fleet.

Now in use across the Surgical and Paediatric wards, this essential equipment enables clinical teams to closely monitor patients’ heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels and temperature following surgery, supporting safer and more responsive care.

WGHG extends its sincere thanks to the Warragul Lions Club and the Australian Lions Foundation for their continued generosity. Their ongoing support plays a pivotal role in helping WGHG deliver high-quality care to our community.
