Due to a recent increase in COVID-19 hospitalisations at West Gippsland Hospital, face masks will be required for all visitors.

West Gippsland Healthcare Group will be quick to respond to the changing situations and be agile with escalating and de-escalating our responses according to current conditions.

All visitors are reminded to observe any mask requirement signage displayed around the hospital.

Our Pandemic Management Committee, which includes representatives from our Infection Control Team at West Gippsland Healthcare Group, will continue to monitor the risks and make changes to our approach as needed.

The safety and wellbeing of our patients, visitors and staff remains our number one priority.

We encourage the community to continue to comply with infection control measures including wearing a face mask, sanitising hands and physically distancing where possible.

Face masks will be available at various stations throughout the hospital for all visitors.
