“We won’t know if you don’t tell us"

West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) encourages and values feedback from all consumers, no matter your background, culture, language or ability. Your feedback is important and will help us know what we are doing well and where we can improve.

Feedback might be:

  • a compliment about the service or staff
  • a suggestion for improvement
  • a complaint about treatment or care

Feedback is confidential and will not affect the care and treatment you or a loved one receives. It is kept separate from the medical record.

You can remain anonymous but the feedback will still be recorded and reviewed.

Talking to staff is often the quickest way to address your concerns. You can also provide feedback in one of the following ways:

Children and Young People are also encouraged to provide feedback and can contact us via the above methods, or download and complete a Children’s and Young Person’s Feedback Form here.

If your feedback relates to a complaint and you would like a response, we will contact you within three business days to inform you of the process. We aim to investigate and resolve all complaints to your satisfaction within 30 business days.

Provide Feedback in another Language

If you are unable to speak English, you can:

  • Ask for an interpreter so you can speak to your healthcare team about your feedback
  • Write to us via email or letter in your preferred language. We will arrange for this to be translated at no charge to you. You may also submit feedback using one of the translated feedback forms below:
