Shannon was appointed Chief Executive Officer in mid-2025 following a six-month interim secondment from her role of Executive Director Clinical Operations Eastern Health.
Shannon is a highly skilled and accomplished health executive who has experience delivering complex care in line with clinical performance standards within large, complex organisations and 24/7 environments. In a career spanning more than 25 years, Shannon has spent many years in public health clinical and management roles and a variety of roles within acute healthcare settings at both Alfred and Monash Health.

Executive Director of Clinical Operations
Maree Fellows joined West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) in mid-2025. She brings more than 20 years of experience across public and private healthcare in clinical practice, project roles and Director and CEO roles. A Registered Nurse and Midwife, Maree is known for her calm and considered leadership style. She is passionate about building positive organisational culture and fostering multidisciplinary teamwork. Maree has played a key role in improving service coordination and patient flow across the Gippsland region. She has a deep understanding of clinical governance and her commitment to professional standards will shape her work in leading nursing and midwifery teams at WGHG.

Cathy is a passionate, results-driven People and Culture leader with experience spanning the public and private healthcare sectors. She thrives on creating inclusive and supportive workplace cultures where people feel valued and empowered. Experienced in leading organisation change and optimising HR Operations, Cathy is dedicated to aligning talent strategies with business goals in a way that drives long-term success. Her hands-on, empathetic approach is at the heart of everything she does, ensuring that individuals and teams are equipped to thrive in a collaborative, high performance environment.
Dr Letitia Clark MBBS FRACGP JCCA DipCH
Chief Medical Officer
Leitita was appointed Chief Medical Officer in 2022. She is a fellow of the RACGP and a GP Anaesthetist. She has extensive governance experience including board director roles for EVGP training, SGPT and the Gippsland PHN and sits on the Joint Consultative Committee for Anaesthesia Australia. Letitia’s vision is for rural communities to access quality healthcare locally, and aims to support the local medical community pro provide this care in West Gippsland.

Executive Director of Strategy, Performance and Allied Health
Belinda joined West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) in November 2025 and brings more than 25 years of clinical, operational and strategic experience from across the health sector. Deeply committed to ensuring equitable access to care for all community members, Belinda has a strong track record in setting strategic direction, building a culture of continuous improvement and fostering collaborative partnerships to enhance community health outcomes and experiences. Before joining WGHG, Belinda held senior leadership roles at Austin Health and Alfred Health.
