We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Jenny Atta PSM, Secretary of the Victorian Department of Health, to West Gippsland Hospital.

During her visit, Ms. Atta met our clinical and operational teams and toured key areas including our Surgical Ward, Maternity Ward, and Warragul Linen Service.

Meeting with our Board of Directors and Executive leaders, Ms Atta’s visit provided an opportunity to show how we are implementing innovative models of care to support our growing community, while working collaboratively within the Gippsland Local Health Service Network (GLHSN) to provide high-quality care closer to home. We are grateful to Ms Atta for taking the time to meet our leaders and see our team’s work firsthand. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Victorian Department of Health, working towards our shared goal of safe, accessible quality care for all Victorians across our region.
