CODE YELLOW: High demand. Long wait times.
Hospital staff and patients, as well as Cooinda Aged Care residents are experiencing high COVID levels.
We have temporarily:
- placed Cooinda in lock-down (no visitors except in extraordinary circumstances)
- closed some hospital beds.
The most sick or injured will be cared for first. The Department of Health and Ambulance Victoria is helping divert less urgent care.
If you are sick but don’t need emergency care, please contact your GP, local pharmacist, Nurse on Call (1300 60 60 24) or the afterhours GP Helpline (1800 02 22 22) .
If you need urgent care or are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 or go to your nearest Emergency Department.
